SPAGHETTI CARBONARA

450g Asda Spaghetti
 2tbsp olive oil
 1 onion, finely chopped
 2-3 garlic cloves, crushed
 150g Asda Extra Special Dry Cured Streaky Bacon, chopped
 2 eggs
 150ml pot double cream
 50g grated Parmesan cheese, with extra to serve
 Flat-leaf parsley leaves, to garnish
 HOW TO MAKE:

Cook spaghetti according to pack instructions. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and add the onion and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes until they start to soften.

Add the bacon and cook, stirring occasionally, for a further 5 minutes until the bacon turns golden.

Place the eggs in a bowl and beat gently with a fork. Beat in the cream and Parmesan, and season with black pepper.

Drain the pasta and return to the pan. Add the egg mixture, onions, garlic and bacon. Cook over a gentle heat, tossing gently for 1 minute. Serve immediately, with a sprinkling of black pepper, parsley and the extra ParmesAN.
