Theoretical framework:

TF provides the structure for examining problems; serves a a guide to examine relationships between variables. the parts of a theoretical framework are construct, concepts, variable, propositions, hyppothesis and measures.

TF is a collection of interrelated concepts, like a theory but not necessarily so well worked-out. It guides your research, determines what things you will measure, and what statistical relationship you will look for.
